Business Management is an extensive branch of education which provides knowledge and training pertaining to planning, execution, supervision and analysis of a business . In this field of education, one not only learns about the establishment of a company or an organisation, but also various functions such as production, finance, administration, human resources, sales & marketing and others. Business Management is open to students from all streams – Commerce, Science and Arts – and can be pursued at undergraduate (BBA/BMS), postgraduate (MBA/PGDM) and doctoral (FPM) levels.
Launched by IIM Indore in 2011, the five-year Integrated Programme in Management (IPM) is the first of its kind in India. The programme has been accredited by the Association of MBAs, London (4th and 5th Year). It is a unique and creative programme meant for young students with managerial and leadership aspirations.
Through the IPM, IIM Indore seeks to attract young students, and mould them as outstanding leaders through a world-class education.
IPM is aimed at students who have passed out of class XII/Higher Secondary or equivalent from schools across India.
The students undergo a rigorous selection process:
An application form aimed at understanding the students’ proficiency in academics, as well as in co- curricular activities is filled up by the aspirant. An entrance examination follows, to test the applicant’s aptitude, logical reasoning and proficiency in English and Mathematics.
Shortlisted candidates appear for Written Ability Test (WA) & Personal Interview (PI). The interview panel comprises well–qualified professors from IIM Indore and other prestigious institutions. The interview judges the students’ level of confidence, communication skills, general awareness, persuasion skills and knowledge.
The Sanctioned intake for IPM 2020 batch (Domestic Applicant) is 150.

IIM Bodh Gaya has also started five years integrated programme in management (IPM) from academic session 2021. The curriculum of this programme would offer experiential learning, international immersion and a holistic course curriculum. The objective of the programme is to prepare candidates from a foundation level for taking up leadership positions in corporates/government organizations. The IPM program is intended to make students have a global perspective towards management practice. With an early induction to the programme and a rigorous and holistic curriculum, the students will demonstrate problem solving skills supported by appropriate analytical techniques and will use ethical and socially conscious judgement while analysing business situations.
The admission to IIM BG-IPM would be through a common entrance test and personal interview. Interested candidiates will have to take IPMAT 2021 organised by IIM Indore.

IIM Rohtak also provides a Five-Year Integrated Programme in Management (IPM) for students after class XII who aim to pursue their career in Business Management. It is a comprehensive management program that has a combined course of management studies from under-graduate (UG) to postgraduate (PG).
Programme aims at molding the outstanding young students managerial and leaders.On successful completion of academic rigor of 5 years, the participant will be awarded with Master of Business Administration (MBA) by IIM Rohtak. If any student intends to exit after successfully completing the programme requirement at the end of 3 years, he/she will be awarded with a degree of Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA).The programme consists of 15 terms spread over a period of 5 years. A year has three terms, each of 3 months duration. The entire programme is divided into two parts; the first part focuses on the foundation courses, whereas the second part focuses on the management. Students will be undergoing internships at the end of every academic year.

The Integrated Programme in Management (IPM) of IIM Ranchi is a full-time 5-year blended course of business studies from undergraduate to postgraduate level (Integrated BBA-MBA).
Students will be awarded a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at the end of the programme.

Candidates should have passed the 10th standard/Secondary/SSC Examination and the 12th standard/Higher Secondary/HSC Examination (or equivalent) with 60% (55% for candidates from SC/ST/PwD) or more marks.
The percentage of marks obtained by the candidate in the 10th and the 12th standard would be calculated based on the Board’s regulations. If there is no such regulation regarding aggregate marks from the concerned Board, then the aggregate marks of all the subjects that appear in the grade sheet will be considered for calculating the passing percentage.
Admission to the programme will be based on SAT exam scores, a written ability test, a personal interview, and overall academic performance at the secondary and the higher secondary levels

(Undergraduate/Postgraduate Education) Five IIMs, namely IIM Indore, IIM Rohtak, IIM Ranchi, and IIM Jammu, NMIMS offer integrated programs which span for five years. Students join this program after high school (class XII).
The program is called IPM (Integrated Programme in Management) at these institutes. The course structures are similar though not same at all the institutes. For three years, students focus on “statistics, economics and humanities”, joining the post-graduate cohort in years 4 and 5.
IIM Indore established its program in 2011 and IIM Rohtak in 2019. IIM Indore awards program graduates both Bachelor of Arts (BA) (Foundations of Management) and Master of Business Administration (MBA) degrees. IIM Rohtak awards the MBA to five-year graduates and BBA to students who opt-out after three years.
SAT is conducted five times in a calendar year. Traditionally, it is held in March, May, August, October, and December.
All applicants will need to send us their official SAT scores through their College Board account.
Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET) is conducted by Symbiosis International (Deemed University) for admission to Symbiosis institutes. SET exam is a gateway for admissions to undergraduate courses such as Management, Law, Engineering, Economics, Design, Mass Communication, Computer Studies, Liberal Arts and Culinary Arts.

NMIMS NPAT 2021 is conducted by the Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies. It is a university level entrance examination which is conducted every year. Through this examination admissions are offered in various UG and Integrated courses. Admission are offered in fields of Engineering, pharmacy, Management, Architecture, etc in Bengaluru, Indore, Shripur and Navi Mumbai campuses of NMIMS
NPAT Eligibility Criteria is the deciding factor for any candidate’s selection in the college for the course of their choice. The eligibility criterion for admission into NMIMS through NPAT 2021 is given below:According to the NPAT Notification, aspiring candidates should have passed the 10+2 or equivalent exam with English as a compulsory subject and secured at least 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
